Do you have plans that cover Ophthalmology procedures like operations

Index of Questions

Question: Does this plan cover Ophthalmology procedures like operations. Thank you

Answer:

We can offer plans that will provide comprehensive cover for a number of medical conditions. Many plans that we offer will have an Ophthalmology component and provide cover for prescription lenses and medically necessary ocular aids.

Plans will provide comprehensive cover in the event that anything should happen. However, an international health insurance plan, in many cases, will not cover pre-existing conditions with out a moratorium period of at least 24 months, or without subjecting the plan to premium loading.

Refractive keratectomy, photorefractive keratectomy, and cosmetic surgeries and operations will also usually be excluded from coverage by most international health insurance plans. However, should anything happen to you whilst you are on the plan you can be assured of receiving the highest levels of medical treatment and care available. Plans will also offer coverage options including benefits for maternity, out-patient, dental, and emergency evacuation cover.
