Can you provide plans that will cover infertility | ||

Question: I'm trying to find a health insurance that will cover some of my fertility treatments, can you help? Answer:We can offer plans that will provide coverage for IVF and infertility treatments. The plans that we can offer with an infertility benefit will provide you with comprehensive cover in relation to IVF and the related treatments including; specialist consultations, complimentary medicine, and diagnostic tests. It is important to bear in mind that IVF plans we offer will have a waiting period of 18 months attached to the coverage. This means that you cannot claim for any IVF related treatments until you have been on the plan for 18 months. Treatment that you have received in relation to IVF and infertility prior to completing the 18 month waiting period cannot be claimed on the plan. It is also important to note that the IVF and infertility plans that we can offer will limit you to a total of four (4) IVF attempts in your lifetime, including any IVF treatments that you may have received prior to enrolling in the plan. The plans will cover your IVF treatments up to a maximum of UDS$3750 for each attempt. If, as a result of the IVF treatments, you conceive more than one (1) child, then the plan will not provide coverage for the delivery costs and will only cover the newborns up to a maximum of USD$37,500 or the first three months of life (whichever comes first); after the limits have been reached you will need to make an application with the insurance company for continuing coverage. If you are only expecting one child then the maternity, delivery, and newborn costs will be covered as per usual.
