Question: Hi,
I am a student doing my PhD here in Germany. I am not a EU country national. I need to get an international haelth insurance which covers infertility treatments. Can you kindly suggest me any appropriate one? I'll be really grateful. Answer: We can provide international medical insurance plans that have a fertility benefit anywhere in the world. International health insurance plans that we offer for Germany will also provide you with a number of extra benefits that are not related to infertility treatment. Plans that we offer can provide coverage for emergency evacuation, out-patient, and dental treatment. The fertility plans that we offer will provide coverage for specialist consultations, diagnostic tests and complementary medicine. It is important to note that a Germany international health insurance plan infertility benefit will have an 18 month waiting period attached to the coverage. This means that from the time that you purchase the policy that you must wait 18 months before claiming for any infertility related treatment. It is also important to be aware of the fact that an infertility benefit will limit the policyholder to a maximum of four IVF attempts in their life time and that any previous IVF treatment (sought or obtained before the start of the plan) will be included in this total. The total coverage limit for each IVF treatment that the policyholder receives is USD $3,750. However, an international health insurance plan will also usually provide coverage for the maternity, delivery, and newborn medical costs for 1 child. If, as a result of the IVF treatment, you have more than 1 child, the policy will not provide coverage for the delivery. We can offer Germany infertility international health insurance plans that are globally portable and guaranteed renewable for life.
