Index of Questions

Question: i am currently in the united states in new mexico. i married a US citizen. i am a italian citizen. He has medicaid but i cant receive medicaid until i live in the US five yrs. I was wondering if there is a plan that i can still have the free medical care and maternity care that i did in italy. because its free there and i also lived in germany also. i am half germany and italian. i am pregnant and looking for insurance which is hard to find here in theU.S. Any help will be great thanks

Answer:

We can provide international health insurance plans for foreign nationals anywhere in the world, including Italians in the USA. The plans that we offer will always provide you with the most comprehensive coverage available and provide you with benefits such as maternity, out-patient, complimentary medicine, new born coverage, and emergency evacuation cover. The plans that we provide will always calculate premiums based upon the policyholder’s age and geographical area of coverage. Plans are never calculated based on the individual’s claims history, so no matter how much medical treatment you receive, you will always be paying the same premium as everyone else in your age group.

International health insurance plans that we can offer will provide a much higher level of coverage than is normally associated with local health insurance plans such as your husbands Mediciad coverage. The plans are globally portable and will continue to provide you with the coverage that you need even if you return to Germany or Italy.

In regards to maternity coverage, plans that we can offer will always have a waiting period attached to the benefit. Typically the waiting period for maternity coverage will be a minimum of 10 months in duration. This means that you cannot claim for any maternity related treatment that you have received prior to the completion of the waiting period.

Maternity plans will often be attached to a newborn coverage benefit, and this is extremely important in the event that your child is born with any congenital birth defects. The newborn benefit on most plans will have a minimum waiting period of 6 months from the start of the plan; again this means that until you have been on the plan 6 months you will not be able to claim for any newborn coverage related expenses.

Hi, My mom will be coming from north africa to visit me in the USA and stay for acouple of weeks. Recently she has been having a heavy hand and legs feeling. She has been prescribed a medication that is usualy prescribed for patients with mild parkinson's. I would like to get some second opinion and test(scans) performed on her in the USA. I don't think that she has parkinson's and I would like to confirn this in a center/hospital that I trust. My mom has an inssurance coverage with mutuelle Maroc, which is a partner with SwissLife and AXA. I wonder if she can get an international coverage with your company that will covers specialist evaluation, MRI, and oether scans if necessary. Thank you
