Inpatient Claims - Expat Health Insurance
If you know you are going into hospital for any kind of inpatient treatment you should inform your expat health insurance company as soon as possible as it can help make your inpatient claims experience go as smoothly as possible. The expat health insurance company will then contact the hospital directly and guarantee payment of any medical expenses. This is done before you enter the hospital so that you will not have to initially pay the expenses yourself and then wait for reimbursement. This process also gives you certainty that your treatment will be covered by your expat insurance plan.
In an emergency situation you can rest assured that your expat health insurance company will cover the cost of your inpatient treatment (less any deductible on your policy), as long as it is an eligible expense. If possible, it is advisable that you or a companion contact us or the insurer as soon as reasonably possible after being admitted.
Our team of expert advisors we can give you advice or quotations for your expat health insurance.

| Hi, My mom will be coming from north africa to visit me in the USA and stay for acouple of weeks. Recently she has been having a heavy hand and legs feeling. She has been prescribed a medication that is usualy prescribed for patients with mild parkinson's. I would like to get some second opinion and test(scans) performed on her in the USA. I don't think that she has parkinson's and I would like to confirn this in a center/hospital that I trust. My mom has an inssurance coverage with mutuelle Maroc, which is a partner with SwissLife and AXA. I wonder if she can get an international coverage with your company that will covers specialist evaluation, MRI, and oether scans if necessary. Thank you | |
