Special Dental Treatment

International dental insurance can offen covers the cost of routine dental procedures. This generally involves cleaning, fillings and examinations. Minor surgery may also be covered by some international dental insurance plans but special dental treatment cover is the true advantage of an international dental insurance plan. Contact us for a free quote.

Special dental treatment includes cover for:

  • Crowns: Full coverage for a tooth. When the tooth cannot be restored by a filling a crown is usually fabricated. Cover includes gold jackets, porcelain crowns, gold inlay and temporary crowns.
  • Bridgework: A fixed appliance (prosthesis) that replaces missing teeth. A bridge is a series of crowns (abutments and pontics).
  • Repairs: Procedures performed to restore the missing part of the teeth. Some insurance companies only consider the fillings to be restorative, others include Build-Up and Recementation work.
  • Periodontics: The treatment of disease of the supporting structure. Mainly gum and bone disease.
  • Gingivitis: Gum disease and it’s related treatment.
  • Root Scaling: Deep cleaning of the teeth to remove calculus below the gum line.
  • Dentures: A removable appliance (prosthesis) that replaces all of the teeth in either the upper or lower jaw.
  • Emergency: Emergency dental treatment e.g. reconstructive surgery after a motor accident. This is usually covered by your medical or dental plan.

Hi, My mom will be coming from north africa to visit me in the USA and stay for acouple of weeks. Recently she has been having a heavy hand and legs feeling. She has been prescribed a medication that is usualy prescribed for patients with mild parkinson's. I would like to get some second opinion and test(scans) performed on her in the USA. I don't think that she has parkinson's and I would like to confirn this in a center/hospital that I trust. My mom has an inssurance coverage with mutuelle Maroc, which is a partner with SwissLife and AXA. I wonder if she can get an international coverage with your company that will covers specialist evaluation, MRI, and oether scans if necessary. Thank you
